Are you a driven and ambitious individual looking to build a career in wealth management? Scotiabank is seeking talented individuals to join our Wealth Management Associate Program, a comprehensive training program designed to develop sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals into a wealth advisory role.

Program Overview

The Wealth Management Associate Program is a 5-month salaried program that provides a thorough understanding of Scotiabank's wealth advisory businesses and total wealth planning approach. You will gain exposure to various aspects of wealth management, including financial planning, client relationships, and sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop core financial planning skills and complementary client discovery skills through the wealth planning process
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative client and internal/external partner relationships
  • Influence, persuade, and build consensus with clients and stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients and colleagues
  • Adapt to constantly changing environments and prioritize tasks accordingly

Requirements
  • Completing an undergrad or master's degree by June 2025, or an experienced worker with a passion for client relationships and financial advice
  • A strong aspiration to build a career in a wealth advisory role
  • A curious, competitive critical thinker who thrives in change and collaborating with others
  • A sales and relationship-focused mindset
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • The ability to influence, persuade, and build consensus
  • Flexibility in adapting to constantly changing environments
