About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our financial resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations

Monitor and analyze our daily financial operations to identify areas for improvement and optimize our financial performance.

Identify and Investigate Compliance Issues

Conduct thorough investigations into any compliance issues that may arise and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Plan and Control Budget and Expenditures

Develop and implement effective budgeting and expenditure control processes to ensure that our financial resources are utilized efficiently.

Establish and Implement Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our financial operations are conducted in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Monitor Financial Control Systems

Monitor and maintain our financial control systems to ensure that they are operating effectively and efficiently.

Manage Contracts

Oversee the management of our contracts to ensure that they are executed in accordance with our financial policies and procedures.

Oversee the Collection and Analysis of Financial Data

Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data to ensure that our financial performance is accurately reported and analyzed.

Advise Senior Management

Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management to ensure that they are informed of our financial performance and position.

Keep Financial Records and Establish, Maintain and Balance Various Accounts

Ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and that our various accounts are established, maintained, and balanced in accordance with our financial policies and procedures.

Oversee Payroll Administration

Oversee the administration of our payroll to ensure that it is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Assign, Coordinate and Review Projects and Programs

Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure that they are executed in accordance with our financial policies and procedures.

Plan, Organize, Direct, Control and Evaluate Daily Operations

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate our daily operations to ensure that they are conducted in accordance with our financial policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge

Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player, and values and ethics.

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
