Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales, managing store operations, and leading a team of Assistant Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive Sales and Profitability

    Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales and profit goals, manage budgets, and analyze sales and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities.

  2. Lead Store Operations

    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including merchandise presentation, pricing, and store standards. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  3. Manage Assistant Managers

    Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Assistant Managers to achieve sales and operational goals. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to ensure their success.

  4. Customer Service

    Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  5. Community Involvement

    Participate in community events and develop relationships with key community groups to promote the store's role in the community.

  6. Adaptability and Innovation

    Stay up-to-date with the latest retail trends and technologies, and adapt to changes in the retail environment to ensure the store remains competitive.
