About the Role

The Senior Business Consultant, SAP Finance will be a key member of Talan's SAP Finance team and will play a crucial role in the digital transformation of our clients.

You will be an expert in SAP financial solutions, able to design and optimize financial models on S/4HANA Finance to meet the specific needs of each client. You will be a leader in all phases of a project, including integration with logistics modules and post-delivery support. In your team, you will train, support, and guide your peers.

As a Senior Business Consultant, SAP Finance, your main mission will be to:

  • Participate in client needs analysis to propose and implement SAP Finance solutions tailored to their business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, technical, project management, and client representative teams to ensure seamless integration of developed solutions.
  • Provide basic technical support to project teams throughout implementation.
  • Accompany junior or intermediate consultants and train them on projects.
  • Act as a financial expert for our clients and colleagues in our sales cycles.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Have a thorough understanding of financial processes in business contexts such as manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.
  • 8 years of experience in implementing SAP projects and SAP financial modules.
  • Have delivered several complete S/4HANA Finance projects.
  • Master MS-Office tools.
  • Communication: Have good oral and written communication skills in French and English to communicate with clients located throughout Canada.

  • Hold a professional title (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent) is an asset.
  • Your professional background demonstrates your priority on client satisfaction and your ability to work in a team to achieve this goal.
