Position Overview

Reporting to the Section Head - Infrastructure and Core Software, the individual in this role is tasked with maintaining the accessibility and integrity of SAP systems while addressing queries and incidents in collaboration with fellow support team members.

This position also entails managing issues, modifications, or enhancements related to the SAP solution. The incumbent acts as a subject matter expert within their section and direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure/SAP team
  • Ensure optimal performance and capacity of environments
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP and its ecosystem
  • Participate in troubleshooting operating system-related problems
  • Contribute to the optimization of SAP systems
  • Provide support to functional teams and SAP developers
  • Serve as a technical reference and assist non-SAP teams in configuring connections with SAP systems
  • Stay current with developments in their area of expertise
  • Act as the technical liaison for Partner Managed Cloud (PMC)
  • Conduct internal and external audits, providing recommendations
  • Develop or assist in the creation of various documents and reports
  • Attend team meetings and working committees on relevant issues
  • Contribute to process enhancements while ensuring documentation is up-to-date and adequate
  • Foster business intelligence within their section and direction (e.g., propose improvement ideas, new techniques)
  • Engage in any project or activity requiring their expertise
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

or

A College Diploma with a specialization in computer science or a related field, or a College Studies Attestation (AEC) in computer science or a relevant specialization, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the competent authority

and

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the installation and configuration of SAP systems

and

Experience with SAP HANA

or

Four (4) years of relevant experience, including experience in Windows system administration

and

Two (2) years of experience in the installation and configuration of SAP systems

and

Experience with SAP HANA

Additional Considerations:

The selected candidate will be subject to a security clearance check.

For diplomas obtained outside of Canada, a study equivalency assessment from the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration is required. The official document must be presented upon request.
