Special Education Teacher for Individuals with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at the Autism Support Network. As a Teacher for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of individuals with autism.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Assist students in developing life skills, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for students.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
- Language: English.
- Hours: 2 to 20 hours per week.
