Position Overview

Dynacare is seeking a dedicated Medical Courier to enhance our Logistics team. This is a Part-Time role, primarily scheduled for weekends and holidays.

Shift Details:

  • Days: Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
  • Route: LST85
  • Time: 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Employment Type: Part-time

Area: Stratford Region

The selected candidate will be responsible for the timely pick-up and delivery of medical samples, reports, and supplies between various healthcare facilities, including laboratories, client offices, and specimen collection centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the transportation of medical samples and documents between main laboratories, hospitals, and client locations.
  • Travel within the Stratford Region and extend to London as required.
  • Adhere to scheduled pick-up and delivery times.
  • Utilize provided applications/software to record all shipments accurately.
  • Ensure that all medical reports and correspondence are delivered to designated locations.
  • Represent Dynacare professionally, maintaining a courteous and informative demeanor.
  • Safeguard the vehicle and its contents at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a driving or courier position.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a commitment to quality service.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.

Additional Information:

All candidates must undergo a criminal background check and provide a clear driving abstract as a condition of employment.
