About the Role:

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients in long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs for clients.
  • Consult with local vendors to facilitate equipment trials and complete applications for funding.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aids.
  • Monitor and record client progress, including restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
