Grocery Store Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Brooks Grocery. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Inventory Management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and inventory of merchandise, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive excellent service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, customer satisfaction, and employee performance.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent customer interactions.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move around the store.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise, up to 25 pounds.
