About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team at Deerhaven Farms. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various farm duties, including animal care and maintenance, crop management, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Assist with feeding, grooming, and monitoring the health of livestock, including beef cattle, chickens, hogs, and other animals.
  • Crop Management: Help with planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops, including hay and other agricultural products.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist with operating and maintaining farm equipment, including tractors, plows, and other machinery.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform various tasks as needed, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
Work Environment

As a Farm Labourer at Deerhaven Farms, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work in a rural area, often in remote locations, and may be required to relocate for this position.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English
