This position is part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides care and support to patients in a psychiatric setting. As a Psychiatric Aide, you will work collaboratively to meet the personal care needs and comforts of patients, following established patient care plans and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist nurses with routine care, including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs
- Observe and report on patient mood, health, and well-being
- Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Support the general operations of the work area
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education and experience satisfactory to the employer.
