Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound, sanding seams and joints, and installing drywall sheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and handle heavy loads
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong hand-eye coordination
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, with a 40-hour workweek and a permanent employment contract. The language of work is English.
