What is the Opportunity?
In this role, you will provide customized mortgage solutions and advice to clients, ensuring their peace of mind. Your ability to develop relationships with internal and external partners is crucial to your success. You will build client loyalty through exceptional and personalized service, while your motivation and relationship-focused sales style will drive solid business results.
This position is unique in that the successful candidate will support multiple regions and provide overflow coverage. The role has a base salary and commission component.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a loyal client base by providing expert mortgage advice
- Collaborate with RBC partners, particularly Mortgage Specialist teams, to provide support and anchor business
- Take the initiative to provide advice and solutions to clients, meeting their individual needs
- Remain mobile to be accessible and accommodate clients' preferences
Requirements
Must-have
- Minimum 3 years of client service experience, ideally in financial services or real estate
- Previous experience as a mortgage lender
- Proven ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships & cultivate strong internal partners
- Proactively promote, sell & deliver mortgage financing for clients through 3rd Party lenders for clients that do not qualify through RBC
- Self-starter who works independently and seeks out answers
Nice-to-have
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination business and home financing products
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- A solid network in your community, resulting in referrals, new clients and increased business
