About the Role

At Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, ensuring consistency and quality in presentation and taste.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Chef to plan and execute menus, specials, and events.
  • Assist with receiving and storing delivered items, maintaining inventory and stock levels.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
  • Proven ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to spend 100% of the time standing.
  • Serve Safe certification.
