About the Role

VHA Home HealthCare is a leading provider of home care services in Ontario, with a team of over 3,000 dedicated professionals. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of healthcare services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduling functions to ensure efficient delivery of healthcare services
  • Communicate with clients, families, funders, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage scheduling software to update service plans and schedules
  • Provide regular communication with clients, caregivers, and funders to ensure client-centered care
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in healthcare or a related field (certificate/diploma preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare organization or administrative role with extensive scheduling experience
  • Excellent telephone skills and ability to interact professionally with callers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multitask and change priorities easily
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support client needs consistent with our client and family-centered approach
  • Knowledge of the GTA and TTC routes or relevant contracted areas
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Speed and accuracy in computer inputting (50 wpm)
