Job Summary

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the timely scheduling of healthcare services. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, families, funders, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients, families, and funders to schedule healthcare services
  • Use scheduling software to manage service changes and updates
  • Maintain accurate service plans and communicate with clients and caregivers
  • Provide regular updates to clients, caregivers, and funders
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in healthcare or a related field (certificate/diploma preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare organization or administrative role with extensive scheduling experience
  • Excellent telephone skills and ability to interact professionally with callers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the GTA and TTC routes or relevant contracted areas
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
