Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Aramark. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and providing exceptional service.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve specialty drinks, teas, and other beverages according to brand standards.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads, in line with location standards.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions, adhering to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including setting up and breaking down coffee bars, stations, or stores.
  • Inventory Management: Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous customer service experience, cash handling experience, and experience as a barista are preferred.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math and counting skills are required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and/or extended walking and standing.
