Catering Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless execution of catering orders and events.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Expeditor to confirm delivery details for each catering order.
  • Transport and deliver catering food, beverages, and essential supplies to event locations using company vehicles or by foot, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Toronto's streets and adhere to all road rules while navigating efficiently.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the catering department, including packing equipment, food, and beverages for upcoming events.
  • Contribute to the inventory management of catering equipment and storage facilities.
  • Provide support with event setup, including arranging chairs, tables, food stations, buffet lines, and other event equipment as directed by the Front of House Manager or Chef.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Prior catering experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to interact effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 20 kg with ease.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work event-based hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Food Handler's and Smart Serve certifications are considered assets.
  • Comfortable standing or driving for extended periods.
