About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Administrator to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our Deposit Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Manager, Deposit Operations and assisting with the day-to-day management of the administrative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to the administrative team, ensuring the smooth operation of our deposit services.
  • Assist with the continued education and training of existing staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews of staff work, ensuring high standards of customer service and quality assurance.
  • Assist with the preparation of yearend tax filings and submission to CRA, as well as daily reconciliation of various accounts.
  • Review daily overnight audit reports for client name changes, rate differentials, and other key metrics.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of regulations affecting the business, including Privacy (PIPEDA), Deposit Type Instruments Regulations (DTIR), CDIC, CRA reporting, FCAC complaint handling, pension and registered plan regulations, and Legislative compliance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
