About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Turnaround Leader to join our Maintenance Leadership Team at INVISTA Canada's nylon manufacturing site in Kingston, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering business results associated with turnarounds and large maintenance events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of turnaround and major outage processes, working closely with operations, maintenance, planning, contractors, reliability, and production engineering teams.
  • Set the direction and coordinate the integrated team to achieve business results, including safety, compliance, asset reliability, costs, duration, quality, and post-overhaul start-up performance.
  • For smaller maintenance events, lead field execution coordination and create a winning team culture that results in optimal readiness and successful execution of events.
  • Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-overhaul critiques, benchmarking, and innovating towards improved results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or post-secondary diploma in engineering with applied project management, planning, or turnaround experience.
  • Planning, turnaround, or large industrial/construction project management experience, including leading, planning, execution, and construction management.
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with people or project leadership experience.
  • Experience applying project management principles and methodologies.
