Position Overview: As a Strategic Business Analyst at delaPlex, you will be instrumental in evaluating business operations and implementing effective solutions to enhance efficiency. Utilizing your knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Jira, and MS Office, you will work alongside diverse teams to optimize workflows, improve decision-making processes, and elevate performance across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business goals, processes, and requirements within the hospitality sector.
  • Employ Jira for project management, developing user stories, and overseeing project backlogs.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards using the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to convert business needs into technical specifications for system upgrades or new implementations.
  • Lead workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Continuously assess and analyze performance metrics to guarantee alignment with business goals and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in the hospitality sector or a similar field.
  • Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data extraction, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong grasp of project management methodologies, with practical experience using Jira for project oversight and user story creation.
  • Advanced skills in the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS or Jira.
  • Familiarity with software and systems specific to the hospitality industry.
