Job Overview:

This pivotal role within the Maintenance Division is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of the Maintenance Stockroom. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the individual will ensure that all parts and supplies are systematically ordered, received, and distributed to Maintenance staff. The role involves maintaining inventory management and warehousing strategies, aligned with the implications of equipment failures and the operational needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily assessments of parts and supplies dispensed from inventory.
  • Manage transactions for automatic stock replenishment.
  • Receive and accurately store all maintenance-related parts, work order materials, and contractor service documentation.
  • Establish Min/Max inventory levels based on usage trends, delivery schedules, and equipment criticality.
  • Investigate shipping discrepancies and invoice issues with suppliers.
  • Perform daily cycle counts of stockroom inventory and monitor variance reports.
  • Prepare shipments, complete necessary documentation, and coordinate pick-up schedules.
  • Organize stockroom inventory and adjust layouts as necessary.
  • Pick and stage materials for work orders while assigning associated costs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to build technical structures related to parts (Bill of Materials).
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding receiving and inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the stockroom.
  • Participate in Maintenance Team meetings and provide updates on parts availability.
  • Identify obsolete parts and prepare documentation for disposal.
  • Generate purchase orders for goods and services and communicate with vendors.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a stockroom environment, preferably in maintenance.
  • Educational background in inventory management or stockroom operations.
  • Technical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with stockroom applications and maintenance components.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Self-driven individual with a history of thriving in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience with SAP asset management systems is preferred.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
