Role Overview
The IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering IT services to our Homebuilding operations, ensuring that our end users can efficiently perform their tasks. This position is pivotal in achieving our mission of providing the Best Homeowner Experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding support and service to end-users across various platforms.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries and assist in resolving application-related issues.
- Maintain clear communication with users regarding the status of their requests and provide interim solutions when necessary.
- Build proactive relationships with stakeholders across different divisions to enhance service delivery.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a commitment to continuous learning while contributing to team initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT Service Delivery Leads on incident management and root cause analysis.
- Ensure the availability of IT services at Field Offices, Sales Centers, and Division Offices outside of regular hours.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Support Knowledge Base for troubleshooting and solutions.
- Coordinate with HR and business leaders to facilitate effective onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist users with various devices including Windows, iPads, and Android systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to meeting technologies and ensure seamless communication.
- Manage hardware and software procurement and deployment for users.
- Provide training and support for new technology implementations.
- Assist in managing security protocols and educate staff on best practices.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, software, and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business or Information Systems.
- Experience in the Homebuilding sector.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+.
- Familiarity with various IT systems and applications.
