Job Title: Civil and Structural Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our structural design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and construction administration of major industrial projects in the Montreal area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of structural engineers to achieve project delivery.
  2. Coordinate structural design and construction with other disciplines.
  3. Work closely with clients and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  4. Carry out structural modeling, analysis, and design.
  5. Prepare and review structural reports and drawings.
  6. Collaborate with BIM staff to prepare drawings.
  7. Review construction submittals, constructability, and staging drawings.
  8. Coordinate engineering and commercial items with the construction team.
  9. Conduct site visits to review work for compliance with structural drawings and contract documents.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  2. Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  3. 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on industrial projects.
  4. Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Proven experience with complete design of projects, including analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration.
  6. In-depth knowledge of building codes, including NBCC, Quebec Construction Code, and CSA standards.
  7. Proficient in structural analysis software, including SAP, ETABS, SAFE, RAM-Structural, S-Concrete, and Microsoft Office Suite.
