About the Role:

Groupe SII is seeking an experienced Senior Python Software Engineer to join our SUNRISE team, specializing in Data Engineering and Bioinformatics systems development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS.
  • Design and develop high-performance software applications in Python, leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Python.
  • Work with data structures, message envelopes, and schema design to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud-based solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven expertise in Python, AWS, and related technologies.
  • Experience with IaC using Terraform and Python.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, message envelopes, and schema design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
