Job Title: AWS Python Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AWS Python Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
  • Develop and deploy high-performance software applications in cloud environments, with a preference for AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, including usability, version control, testing, and abstraction.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing tools in Python for High-Performance Computing and cloud solutions.
  • Experience enabling various AWS services using infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform and Python.
  • Familiarity with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Working experience with Lambda, Step functions, SQS & SNS (minimum 2 years).
  • Proven track record of developing multiple software applications in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated adherence to best practices in software engineering, including usability, version control, testing, and abstraction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable about data structures, message envelope, and schema design.
  • Leverage AI tools like GitLab CI in your day-to-day work to create efficiencies, such as code generation and testing.
