Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our optical store team in delivering exceptional patient care and sales results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize store sales and profits through effective management of associates and operations.
- Ensure store meets operational, sales, and merchandising goals.
- Model Luxottica's commitment to providing NECE and exceptional patient care.
- Lead OD business partnership and co-planning.
- Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber sales associates.
- Coach and develop associates to provide candidates for promotion and future growth opportunities.
- Ensure store compliance with Company HR policies and practices, as well as federal and state laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, equivalent experience.
- License as required per state or municipality.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in an equivalent retail environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build associate relationships in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to direct and motivate a diverse associate population.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
- Ability to act decisively in implementing solutions.
- Strong organizational skills for planning work and continuously monitoring progress towards goals.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
- Ability to analyze and understand financial reports.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) for effective management of teams.
- Ability to demonstrate an exemplary commitment to providing exceptional customer service and sales.
- Ability to be on feet most of the day and function throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Must demonstrate physical agility (bending, twisting, reaching, and pulling) for handling merchandise.
- Must be available to work early mornings, days, nights, and weekends to meet the store's needs.
