Job Title: Custodian Supervisor

Miracle Duct Cleaning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodian Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance projects.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and with odours, dust, and other hazards.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
Working Conditions:
  • Office building, cleaning service company, commercial facility, hotel, motel, resort, or school/educational institution.
  • Repetitive tasks, physically demanding work, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check required.
Personal Suitability:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and on-call.
Language:
  • English language proficiency required.
Work Term:
  • Permanent position.
Hours:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
