MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business consulting firm for Indigenous Nations, businesses, and entrepreneurs in Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our Indigenous Services team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our diverse team of professionals who are dedicated to exceeding clients' unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape.

As a Manager, you will lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of financial engagements with Indigenous communities and enterprises. You will deliver high-quality deliverables, manage a diverse portfolio of clients, and support internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of financial engagements with Indigenous communities and enterprises
  • Deliver high-quality deliverables, including reports, technical work, and management presentations
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, immersing yourself in their operations, key risks, and opportunities for value-addition
  • Support and guide internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain quality control, anticipating, identifying, and tackling issues relevant to clients' operations, financial entries, and reports
  • Create connections within the Indigenous community, developing business development opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to meet client needs
  • Mentor, motivate, and inspire team members towards professional and personal growth through clear guidance, constructive feedback, and impactful performance reviews
  • Maintain the flexibility to travel to engage with clients in-person
  • Relocation assistance provided up to $4,000 to help cover the cost of moving furniture, temporary housing, and travel to the new location

Skills and Experience

  • CPA or CAFM designation
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities or enterprises an asset
  • Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
  • Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills
