About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Domo Japan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including special meals for patients and customers with dietary restrictions.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
