The Role:
We are looking to expand our compassionate and skilled team with a Mobility Equipment Technician in Ontario. You will receive training on the tools and equipment you will be working with. Your responsibilities will include direct interaction with clients to identify and troubleshoot issues with their equipment. You will travel to various locations, including private residences and community facilities, to meet client needs.

Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and Repairing: You will quickly learn to repair wheelchairs and custom mobility devices while navigating our software systems. Your role will involve assessing issues with both manual and power devices, troubleshooting batteries and functionality, and executing repairs.
- Delivering Exceptional Customer Experience: You will prioritize a respectful, empathetic, and friendly customer experience, ensuring that client needs are met and that we fulfill our mission of making life accessible for everyone.
- Flexibility and Mobility: You will work 8-hour shifts and travel to clients' homes and community facilities, adapting your daily schedule to meet the evolving needs of clients.
What You Bring:
- Technical Expertise: Previous experience in customer service and equipment assembly or repair is essential. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and power equipment is a plus. A genuine interest in learning new tools and methods for solving practical challenges is highly valued.
- Empathy: You possess the ability to navigate various situations with professionalism and compassion, prioritizing client comfort and urgency. You can manage conflicts and respond patiently to client demands, understanding the significance of their mobility devices.
- Additional Requirements: A valid G-class driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary. You will be provided with a company vehicle for regular travel. A clean criminal background check and bondability are required, along with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
