Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Holletts Retirement Living Inc. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Scour pots and pans
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen facilities, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements:
