We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Holletts Retirement Living Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Scour pots and pans
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
