OverviewWe are in search of a full-time Head of Commercial Claims for our operations. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the Claims Team, reporting to the VP of Claims, leading the team to deliver exceptional claims service and advocacy to our clients, while maintaining and surpassing the service standards set by our division. Your positive attitude and integrity are essential for collaborating with our diverse team.

How you'll make an impact- Provide leadership and mentorship to Claims Specialists, Advocates, and Associates
- Engage in discussions and evaluations of significant Commercial Insurance clients' new claims, analyzing policy language
- Offer claims counseling to insured parties in a professional and conscientious manner
- Advocate for large or complex client claims with insurers as necessary
- Assist Claim Advocates in reviewing policy coverages and advocacy efforts
- Lead client meetings in collaboration with the Client Solutions Team
- Build relationships with GGB - Global insurers' Claims Management Teams, Large Loss Adjusters, and Independent Adjusters
- Establish partnerships with Key Service Providers, including Restoration Companies, Auto Appraisers, Accounting Firms, and Law Firms
- Maintain, coordinate, and update client files using Broker Management Systems and filing software
- Communicate with adjusters and insured parties regarding open claims
- Act as a liaison between insured parties and insurance carriers during settlement negotiations when necessary
- Participate in company-sponsored seminars and educational activities to enhance product knowledge and expertise, and engage in projects as requested by management
- RIBO license or ability to obtain upon starting the role is required
- Experience in Claims Adjusting or as a Commercial Broker with Claims Advocacy experience is essential
- Expertise in non-profit, program, or manufacturing claims is a plus
- Experience in Team Management and/or Leadership is advantageous
- CAIB, CIP, or CRM designations are beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Capability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Broker Management or electronic filing software is an asset
