About the Job:

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families, collaborating with other healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and continuously improve nursing care.
  • Participate in hospital committees and research projects to advance clinical knowledge and skills.

This is a casual opportunity, with variable hours and shifts. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

About this Role:

  • Shifts will be scheduled days and nights, rotating between 07:00 and 19:00, or 19:00 and 07:00 hours.

The Slocan Community Health Centre is a residential facility attached to the 24/7 Emergency Unit and physicians' offices. Our resident-centred philosophy focuses on supporting residents' choices and promoting their independence.
