Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 1628939 ONTARIO LTD. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and relay information to central dispatch as required.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other drivers and dispatchers to ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods and materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
