Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Light Haul Transport Ltd. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan and optimize routes to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Team Driving: Drive in teams or convoys, maintaining open communication with fellow drivers to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation process.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate trucks to transport materials, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, performing any necessary repairs to prevent downtime.
  • Logistics Coordination: Record trip information, including cargo details and delivery times, to facilitate seamless logistics operations.
  • Cargo Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including hazardous materials, during transportation.
