Restaurant Manager Job Description

Sushi Wara is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to optimize restaurant profitability and make informed decisions about menu pricing, inventory management, and labor costs.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Lead and motivate a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor expenses, and other operational costs to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
