About the Role

BBA Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide influential leadership to ensure the success of your assigned projects.
  • Project Planning: Plan, lead, and control project delivery in accordance with the BBA mandate and to client satisfaction as well as that of the organization, your team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage and resolve technical, financial, schedule, and human resource issues in a timely manner to mitigate potential variances.
  • Quality Management: Ensure the quality of professional services rendered, in accordance with the practices associated with the quality management system to preserve BBA's professional image.
  • Business Development: Significantly participate in the firm's business development and produce proposals.
  • Team Management: Integrate available resources into projects to maximize development of BBA's skills (multi-level teams).
  • Coaching: Serve as a coach to work teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Certification: Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Experience: Twenty years of relevant work experience in managing medium to large EPCM and EPC projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of methodology for modern project management, efficient time management and decision-making skills, ability to maintain collaborative relationships with personnel, clients, and suppliers, strong negotiation skills, excellent written and spoken communication (English and French), and advanced knowledge of MS Office.
