Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional license in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. P.Eng.).
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in industrial or mining engineering.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera.
