A&W Restaurant Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at A&W Restaurants Inc. in Victoria, BC. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high-quality food and beverage standards, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of employees to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Manage restaurant operations, including inventory control, labor management, and cash handling
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to employees
  • Manage restaurant maintenance and repairs, including equipment and facilities
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies
  • Ensure high-quality food and beverage standards are maintained
  • Develop and implement employee training programs
  • Manage employee relations, including recruitment, hiring, and termination

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, labor management, and cash handling
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
