Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to enhance our Development Enablement team.

In this capacity, you will be instrumental in developing and sustaining a CI/CD pipeline for our enterprise-level on-premise video security solutions.

Your expertise in infrastructure and software engineering will be vital in automating the deployment of our solutions, ensuring that our processes are reliable, repeatable, and verifiable.

Our technology stack is diverse, encompassing C++ and the latest web development practices, allowing you to work with a variety of tools tailored to these technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Establish, deploy, and oversee build, development, and testing environments.
  • Create and maintain tools and services that enhance the productivity and satisfaction of our software engineers.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in software development or DevOps.
  • About 3+ years of experience in compiled language software development (preferably C++/C#).
  • Experience in building and maintaining build systems using Bamboo, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of software configuration management practices.
  • Passionate advocate for DevOps principles.

This role requires a candidate who is based in the Greater Vancouver Area and is comfortable with a hybrid work schedule.
