We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer Lead to join our team at Zepp Health.

About the Role:

This is a leadership position that requires a deep understanding of cloud operations and DevOps, as well as robust knowledge in Machine Learning Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the cloud operations and DevOps team, designing and maintaining DevOps systems that support multiple data centers and public clouds.
  • Take the lead in localizing data center operations, managing data isolation, and controlling cross-border access.
  • Design tools and mechanisms to monitor and maintain cloud platform reliability, cost, and performance.
  • Quickly resolve online incidents through efficient SRE tools and mechanisms.
  • Design processes to continuously optimize ticket handling, identify high ROI manual operations that should be automated.
  • Support the data science team to ensure the smooth development, experimentation, deployment, and maintenance of GenAI and machine learning models.
  • Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and practices in Europe and North America, guiding the team to implement DevOps best practices.
Requirements:
  • Over 10 years of experience in cloud operations and DevOps.
  • Fluent in English, capable of seamless verbal communication and meetings with European and North American business teams and local engineers in Vancouver.
  • Over 3 years of team leadership experience, with the ability to lead teams and implement best practices.
  • Familiar with CI/CD processes, with experience in designing and implementing automation processes.
  • Capable of monitoring and maintaining cloud platform reliability, cost, security, and performance.
  • Understand data center localization, data isolation management, and cross-border access control.
  • Bonus: Familiar with MLOps, with a certain understanding of the data science and machine learning lifecycle.
