Packaging Development and Production Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Central Engineering team as a High-Speed IC Package Development Manager. This role will involve managing a team of engineers responsible for the development of advanced microelectronic packages for semiconductors supporting high-speed data rates.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of engineers involved in package development, electrical design, modeling, and characterization.
- Interface with package suppliers to select package technology, drive layout, and ensure manufacturability and compliance with performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
- Work with marketing and IC designers to develop achievable package specs and contribute to new package technology development.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Python to drive SI, PI, and packaging activities.
- Manage engineers performing VNA and TDR measurements for package and PCB characterization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful package development and production.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or Master's degree or PhD with 8-10 years of experience.
- 10-15 years of related professional experience in high-speed IC package development, electrical design, and modeling.
- Strong fundamentals in EM, transmission lines, and microwave theory.
- Experience with 2-D and 3-D EM simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, SI-Wave, and Cadence Clarity.
- Proven track record of new product introduction from concept to production.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
