Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Print Production Estimator to join our team at Newprint. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for printing and packaging projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Analysis: Review and analyze project specifications, including artwork and materials, to provide accurate cost estimates for printing and packaging projects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the production team and clients to ensure that project requirements are met, and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing and trends to ensure that estimates are competitive and accurate.
  • Pricing Strategies: Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and proposals that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Estimate Delivery: Ensure that all estimates and proposals are delivered on time and are accurate.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in printing and packaging estimation, with a strong understanding of digital, offset, and flexographic printing processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software, with the ability to create accurate and detailed cost estimates.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and production teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
