Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Circle K. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales associates to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments and Returns: Process payments and returns, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Sell Merchandise: Engage with customers, promote products, and drive sales growth.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize Inventory: Manage inventory levels, maintain stockroom organization, and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring seamless store operations.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Area of Specialization: Retail store.
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Personal Suitability: Team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 35 hours per week.
