Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mary Browns Chicken. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, optimizing inventory levels and reducing waste.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining open communication with management and staff.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced conditions.
- Supervision: 3-4 people, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.
- Client Focus: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on meeting customer needs and expectations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with physical demands requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
