Food Service Team Lead

At Oh Bombay Waterloo, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, standing for extended periods and working a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
