About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our team at the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional academic assistance, helping them to close the gap in Literacy and Numeracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to students in need, focusing on Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to support student success
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
  • Attend training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Postsecondary institution graduate from an Ontario institution
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge
  • Understanding of child development and learning strategies
  • Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching an asset
