Job Title: Part-Time Elementary French Teacher/Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Elementary French Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and tutoring elementary students in French, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and tutor elementary students in French, using our proprietary methodologies and philosophies
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
  • Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 12 (or equivalent) level
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
